This is the place where I let the masses know the musician that I have discovered this month. I don't mean discovered like the musician was Lana Turner and I found it sitting there in a drugstore and then took credit for its success. I mean I happened to stumble across it, most likely long after it was a movie star. If we're still using the Lana Turner reference. If we're not, that makes no sense. But the point is the musician is new to me and I love them. This is going on too long so the last thing I'll say is that I have given more than one Hanson song five stars in my ipod, so that's where I'm coming from.

My favorite song of theirs at the moment: Rally

They are kind of poppy, but not in a Britney Spears way, more like in a Beatles way. I’m not saying that they are as good as the Beatles because NO ONE IS, I’m just saying they are poppy in that vein. They are from France which is weird because they don’t sound French and their band’s name is Phoenix. Don’t they know that’s in Arizona? I don’t think they get it.

Regardless, I love them. But if you are trying to find them to get them to play at your wedding or Bar Mitzvah, don’t go to this website to find them: www.phoenixtheband.net. You may not get what you were looking for. But you will, apparently, always get a professional and energetic show!
